Following the success and level of interest shown at the 2007 inaugural conference BWEA Cymru has announced that a second annual conference and exhibition will be held at the St David’s Hotel in Cardiff Bay on 9th July 2008.  Jane Davidson AM, Welsh Assembly Minister for the Environment, Sustainability and Housing, has confirmed to open conference with a keynote speech.

It is the intention of the BWEA Cymru conference to discuss the new drive towards a renewables future for Wales, UK and Europe. The conference will also examine the progress made towards achieving the existing TAN 8 renewable energy targets including grid offshore and marine developments, as well as the benefits delivered to local communities from existing renewable energy projects.
