Anemones are related to jellyfish and have lots of stinging tentacles to catch their food.  They wave these tentacles about in the water and catch any tiny animals which the current brings along.  Plumose anemones can grow up to 30 cm tall and live attached to hard surfaces underneath the water, including turbines
